Las reacciones internacionales ante los ataques de Estados Unidos e Israel contra Irán no se han hecho esperar. En toda Europa, los líderes instan a la moderación y advierten contra una escalada. El presidente del Gobierno español, Pedro Sánchez, rechazó lo que calificó de acción militar unilateral y exigió "una desescalada inmediata y el pleno respeto del derecho internacional". El presidente francés, Emmanuel Macron, describió la situación como una escalada peligrosa que debe detenerse. Los presidentes de la Comisión Europea y del Consejo Europeo, Ursula von der Leyen y Antonio Costa, afirmaron que los acontecimientos en Irán son "muy preocupantes". En Oriente Medio predominan los llamamientos a la moderación. Omán, que había mediado en las conversaciones entre Estados Unidos e Irán, instó a Washington a no involucrarse más en lo que calificó de "una guerra que no es suya".
