Dalam keterangannya, Sudewo sempat menyampaikan permintaan maaf pada masyarakat.
Adapun terkait dengan aksi demo besar-besaran ini, DPRD Kabupaten Pati menggelar rapat paripurna.
Sidang paripurna ini digelar mendadak lantaran undangannya baru dibuat pada Rabu (13/8).
Agenda rapat paripurna ini adalah menyepakati pembentukan panitia khusus (pansus) hak angket untuk memakzulkan Bupati Sudewo.
Seluruh partai termasuk Partai Gerindra yang merupakan pengusung Sudewo menyetujui pembentukan pansus hak angket.
Sikap dari DPRD ini hanya berselang beberapa jam setelah demo yang digelar di depan kantor Bupati Pati berujung ricuh.
