Es war der Beginn einer Künstlerinnen-Laufbahn, die derart rasch Tempo aufnahm, dass sich Tülin Sezgin aus ihrem Beamten-Job entlassen ließ. Von da an war das kreative Multitalent in unterschiedlichen TV- und Medienformaten zu sehen, beispielsweise in der Impro-Show des rbb "Banausen - Comedy. Theater. Chaos." (ARD Kultur).
Außerdem veröffentlichte sie als "Conny from the Block" ihr Buchdebüt "Da bin ick nicht zuständig, Mausi". Nun hat Tülin Sezgin, 1988 in Berlin geboren und in Neukölln als Kind türkischer Eltern aufgewachsen, ihr zweites Buch geschrieben, den autobiografischen Text "ALMANCI-Mädchen. Wie ich mir Deutschsein beigebracht habe".
Sie erzählt humorvoll und berührend von ihrem Leben zwischen den Welten: als Berlinerin mit türkischen Wurzeln in Deutschland und dem "Almanci-Mädchen" in der Türkei - von ihrer inneren Zerrissenheit, prägenden Momenten und der sie lange begleitenden Frage: Wie deutsch kann und muss ich sein?
