Delcy Rodríguez informa de 32 muertos hasta ahora tras 2 terremotos, 25 junio 2026 a la 1 a.m.
A la 1 de la madrugada de este jueves 25 de junio, la Presidenta encargada, Delcy Rodríguez, emitió un mensaje al país acompañada de su gabinete y ministros; del presidente de la Asamblea Nacional, Jorge Rodríguez, y otras figuras del gobierno nacional.Informó Rodríguez que culminó la primera reunión de instalación del Estado Mayor, tras los dos terremotos consecutivos ocurridos el 24 de junio. Su objetivo central y esencial —enfatizó— es el de salvar vidas: "Vamos al rescate de aquellas personas tapiadas por edificios o viviendas que colapsaron".
El estado más afectado "por este inédito fenómeno sísmico" es La Guaira, donde hay decenas de edificios colapsados. "Estamos en labores muy arduas de rescate, "para salvar las vidas que Dios nos permita salvar".
Indicó que hay, hasta ahora, 32 fallecidos sin contar aún con las cifras que arroje el estado la Guaira, y más de 700 heridos recibidos en hospitales públicos y centros de información privados.
"Quiero decir que es una verdadera tragedia (...) Podemos decir en el estado La Guaira hay una verdadera tragedia y se convierte en zona de desastre". Reiteró su mensaje de condolencias y solidaridad a las familias que han sufrido pérdidas.
