Los recortes a la ayuda internacional estadounidense agravan la crisis de hambre en Sudán
En Sudán, el congelamiento de la ayuda internacional estadounidense ha obligado a cerrar hasta el 80% de los comedores de emergencia, o alrededor de 1.100 instalaciones, un hecho que agrava aún más la crisis alimentaria que enfrenta dicho país.La cadena BBC ha citado a una trabajadora humanitaria que dijo que los recortes dejaron a la gente "gritando de hambre en las calles"
El miércoles, la directora de la División de Operaciones y Promoción de la Oficina de Coordinación de Asuntos Humanitarios de las Naciones Unidas informó al Consejo de Seguridad de dicha organización internacional sobre la crisis de Sudán.
