Paramiliter grup Hızlı Destek Kuvvetleri'nin (RSF) Sudan'ın kilit kenti Faşir'i hükümet güçlerinden almasının ardından kentte insani bir felaket yaşanmasından korkuluyor.Birleşmiş Milletler (BM) kentte "yargısız infazlar"ın yaşandığına dair güvenilir bilgiler geldiğini söylüyor.
BM'ye bağlı Uluslararası Göç Örgütü, 1 Kasım'dan bu yana 36.000'den fazla kişinin Kordofan bölgesinden kaçtığını açıkladı.
Yale Üniversitesi İnsani Yardım Araştırma Laboratuvarı da "toplu halde infaz edilen ceset yığınlarına" ilişkin uydu görüntülerini gündeme getirdi.
Toplu katliamların yanı sıra, 18 aydır RSF tarafından kuşatma altında tutulması nedeniyle şehirde mahsur kalan yüz binlerce sivil uzun süredir açlık krizi yaşıyor.
Uydu görüntüleri, kaçmaya çalışan insanların hastanelerde ve şehri çevreleyen toprak duvarların yakınında toplu katliamlara maruz kaldığını gösteriyor.
