Reports indicate Hamas is weighing a U.S.-backed proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza.President Donald Trump announced on social media Tuesday that Israel had agreed to terms for a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza, coming ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to the White House on Monday, when he's scheduled to meet with President Donald Trump.
On Truth Social, Trump said, "My Representatives had a long and productive meeting with the Israelis today on Gaza. Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize the 60 Day CEASEFIRE, during which time we will work with all parties to end the War. The Qataris and Egyptians, who have worked very hard to help bring Peace, will deliver this final proposal. I hope, for the good of the Middle East, that Hamas takes this Deal, because it will not get better — IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"
Multiple sources confirm to Fox News that Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman secretly visited the White House Thursday and met with key officials including Trump. Prince Khalid - or KBS is the younger brother of the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
