Rekaman video yang dirilis AFP pada Selasa (2/7/2024) memperlihatkan jalanan di Rafah tampak sepi.
Kota yang sudah ditinggalkan penduduknya ini tak ubahnya seperti kota mati.
Sebagian besar bangunan masih kokoh berdiri, sementara lainnya sudah rata dengan tanah.
Menurut laporan VOA, saat ini, pasukan Israel masih terus melakukan serangan di sejumlah titik.
Misalnya di Kota Khan Younis yang menewaskan delapan orang pada Selasa (2/7/2024).
Serangan itu hanya berselang sehari setelah Israel memerintahkan evakuasi terhadap warga di kota tersebut.
