Lightroom's NEW Open Eyes: Are They Really Your Eyes?

Adobe just added Open Eyes to Lightroom on mobile: when someone blinked, Lightroom spots the closed eyes and offers to open them with generative AI. In this video Aaron tests it on a real blink of his own, runs it twice, and compares the generated eyes with his real eyes to answer the big question: are they really your eyes?

What we found: it costs 20 credits on a 3840 px photo and 40 credits on a 6000 px photo (the price follows the photo's size, not the number of people), it runs on Google's Nano Banana 2 rather than Firefly, one generation fixes every closed-eyed face in a group shot, and the results are close but not exact. The first run opened the eyes and raised the eyebrows; the second opened only the eyes.

The written tutorial has every step, the group-photo examples and the credit test: https://phlearn.com/tutorial/lightroom-open-eyes/
