Ripubblichiamo l'intervista del 2018 a Pietro Pastorini, morto il 12 luglio 2024, grande allenatore ed educatore di strada, nell'occasione dell'intitolazione alla sua memoria della palestra della scuola di via Graf, a Quarto Oggiaro, a cura del Municipio 8 di Milano (la cerimonia lunedì 8 giugno). Lomellino di nascita, Pietro Pastorini è stato un grande sportivo e allenatore di marciatori e marciatrici di successo: ha scoperto i talenti di campioni della marcia come Michele Didoni e Giovanni Perricelli. Ma soprattutto è stato un precursore: cinquant’anni fa, con una riga con il gesso, ha trasformato via De Pisis, un luogo di spaccio, in una palestra di atletica dove sono nati dei campioni. Oggi l’assessora del Municipio 8 Serenella Calderara ha concretizzato la proposta per ricordarlo lanciata sul Corriere da Piero Oldani con gli amici di Pastorini: una palestra che porta il suo nome, proprio a Quarto Oggiaro.
