Chaque année, dans la nuit du samedi au dimanche de la Pâques orthodoxe, l’île grecque de Chios devient le théâtre d’un duel pyrotechnique spectaculaire. Lors du "Rouketopolemos", deux paroisses s’affrontent à coup de dizaines de milliers de fusées artisanales. Aujourd’hui, la guerre des fusées, bien qu’illégale, est aussi une attraction touristique et une source de revenus pour l’île.
