In his best-selling book "Four Thousand Weeks", Oliver Burkeman makes us realize that we have approximately 4000 weeks in our life (if we live up to 80 years). Everything that we have to do has to be done within this limited time.
Taking inspiration from this idea, I discuss undergraduate life similarly has only about 200 weeks. There is no reason to hit the panic button. But there is reason to make a conscious choice to live and work with intention so as to have a fulfilling and productive UG life. A key step in this process is to reflect on and review the week at the end of each week.
To help with this reviewing process, I have used Claude (from Anthropic) to create a simple and free tool that shows all the weeks of UG life from 1st year to 4th year at a glance on a single html page. Each box, representing a week, can be marked depending on how meaningfully it was spent.
The only thing necessary on the part of the student is complete honesty in assessing their week.
