Asha Sharath is an Indian Classical Dancer and Actor working in Malayalam Cinema. She started her career with Television serials moving on to films. She was noticed for her role in Drishyam 2 as the police officer. Asha Sharath appeared in many television serials including Jathaka Kathakal and Mikhayelinte Santhathikal, her most notable being the soap opera Kumkumapoovu. Her first feature film was the Friday (2012). Her role as Geetha Prabhakar in Drishyam (2013) was her breakthrough performance. She will soon be seen in Drishyam 3 opposite Mohanlal and directed by jeethu Joseph.In this deeply personal interview we cover her journey so far, as a professional, a working mother and a businesswoman. We talk about her family, how close she was to her brothers who are no more. We see the beauty of her bond with her husband Sharath, who has been a pillar of strength to her.
