Gaza City hospital overwhelmed with casualties amid escalating Israeli attacks
The Israeli military has intensified attacks across Gaza, killing at least 45 Palestinians on Sunday—including children—with concentrated strikes devastating Gaza City’s al-Tuffah neighbourhood for two straight days.Residential areas like Zeitoun, Sabra, and al-Zawiya market were also bombarded, overwhelming hospitals as wounded civilians flood facilities.
At al-Ahli Hospital, shortages force patients onto floors, with children comprising most casualties. Israeli leaflets ordering Palestinians to evacuate to the south precede relentless strikes, exacerbating civilian tolls.
Survivors confirm their non-combatant status, yet attacks persist, creating catastrophic conditions. Entire families are trapped under rubble as rescue efforts falter.
