Salah satunya adalah Suhendi (30), warga Way Lunik, yang meninggal dunia setelah tersengat tiang listrik.
Kejadian ini bermula ketika Suhendi berusaha membantu evakuasi barang-barang tetangganya.
Tapi nahas, aliran listrik dari tiang yang terendam air membuat dirinya tidak selamat.
"Jadi korban ini hendak melakukan evakuasi saat banjir melanda daerah rumah korban sekitar Pura Kerthi Bhuana, hingga akhirnya kesetrum meninggal dunia," kata, Camat Panjang, Hendry Satria Jaya, Jumat (17/1/2025).
Menurut laporan, banjir ini terjadi karena gabungan hujan deras, pasang air laut, dan limpasan dari wilayah hulu.
BMKG memperingatkan cuaca ekstrem akan terus berlangsung selama beberapa hari ke depan.
