Lavoro nero e caporalato, giro d'affari da 68 miliardi
ROMA (ITALPRESS) - Ammonta a 68 miliardi di euro il volume d’affari annuo riconducibile al lavoro irregolare presente in Italia. Il 35 per cento circa di questo valore aggiunto prodotto dall’economia sommersa è ascrivibile alle regioni del Sud. E' quanto emerge da un’analisi condotta dall’Ufficio studi della CGIA. I 3 milioni di unità di lavoro standard presenti in Italia che esercitano un’attività lavorativa in palese violazione delle norme fiscali, contributive e in materia di sicurezza, “provocano” un tasso di irregolarità del 12 per cento. Il Mezzogiorno presenta la percentuale più elevata di lavoro irregolare, ovvero il 37 per cento del totale. Tuttavia, il fenomeno ormai è esteso anche al Centronord e ha una presenza record soprattutto nei servizi alle persone, come colf e badanti. Il tasso di irregolarità di questo settore raggiunge il 42 per cento. Al secondo posto c'è l’agricoltura con il 17 per cento e al terzo le costruzioni con il 13 per cento. Da sempre il fenomeno del lavoro nero è legato al caporalato. Ad essere sfruttati sono i più fragili, come le persone in condizione di estrema povertà, gli immigrati e le donne. Il comparto maggiormente investito da questa piaga sociale ed economica è sicuramente l’agricoltura. Fenomeni di caporalato ai danni degli immigrati sono presenti da moltissimi decenni nell’Agro Pontino, nell’Agro nocerino-sarnese, a Villa Literno, nell’area della Capitanata e nella Piana di Gioia Tauro. Senza contare che da almeno ventianni decine e decine di casi sono stati scoperti e perseguiti dalle forze dell’ordine anche nelle aree agricole della pianura padana.
