Humans have always had a hope to commemorate our legacy across generations. However, the ways that we achieve this legacy have shifted over time. Creating a struggle not to live but instead to be noticed, fuelling the recent transformation from people into products. Spencer Wojcichowsky is a dedicated Grade 12 AP student at Ernest Manning High School with a strong passion for law and politics. She served as the Youth Leaders in Law Calgary HR Director for the 2025–2026 season, assisting in the planning and execution of the Annual Youth Leaders in Law Conference. Additionally, Spencer ran the organization's Ambassador Program, selecting applicants to represent the group at high schools across Calgary. She also demonstrated her aptitude for leadership by serving as president of her high school debate club and vice president of her Model UN club over the past year. This year, Spencer has taken on the role of Executive of Events for the Youth Policy Council, a political and research network designed for youth by youth. Beyond her academic pursuits, she enjoys sewing, thrifting, and is rarely seen without a book in hand. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
