\WASHINGTON, KOMPAS.TV - Presiden Ukraina, Volodymyr Zelenskyy menyatakan dirinya siap untuk melakukan pertemuan trilateral dengan Presiden Rusia Vladimir Putin dan Presiden AS Donald Trump membahas perdamaian.
Hal itu disampaikan Zelenskyy saat bertemu Trump di Gedung Putih, Washington, pada Senin (18/8/2025).
"Kami mendukung gagasan dari Amerika Serikat, khususnya Presiden Trump, untuk menghentikan perang ini, dan menyelesaikannya secara diplomatis. Dan kami siap untuk pertemuan trilateral seperti yang dikatakan Presiden, ini merupakan sinyal yang baik tentang trilateral tersebut," ujar Zelenskyy.
Sementara itu, Donald Trump menegaskan bahwa perdamaian Ukraina-Rusia berjalan dengan baik.
"Saya percaya jika kita bisa mencapai perdamaian, semuanya akan berhasil. Saya tidak punya keraguan tentang hal itu," ujarnya.
