Le #proteste si sono intensificate dopo che l’ex presidente #Trump ha inviato 2.000 soldati della #GuardiaNazionale, provocando forti critiche da parte delle autorità locali.
La situazione è degenerata in violenti scontri con la #polizia: auto incendiate, lanci di oggetti e uso di gas lacrimogeni e proiettili di gomma da parte degli agenti. Il centro città è stato sgomberato, e ogni assembramento è stato dichiarato illegale. I manifestanti si sono spostati verso sud, bloccando il traffico.
Il #bilancio attuale, stando ai dati forniti da #SkyTg24, è di 27 arresti e tre agenti feriti. Alcuni negozi sono stati saccheggiati, aumentando la tensione. La sindaca Karen #Bass ha denunciato l’intervento militare come "un caos provocato", mentre il governatore Gavin #Newsom ha chiesto a Trump di ritirare le truppe, parlando di "violazione della sovranità statale".
Intanto, su #X, Elon #Musk ha commentato le proteste scrivendo: "Questo non è ok", e Trump ha definito la situazione "molto grave", ordinando l’arresto di chiunque indossi maschere durante le manifestazioni.
