Dalam rekaman yang beredar, tampak pelapor mempertanyakan maksud permintaan uang untuk melanjutkan kasus yang ia laporkan.
Kasus ini bermula saat korban bernama Saung melapor tindak pidana pencurian ikan di empang miliknya pada 9 Juni 2025 lalu.
Namun, laporan tersebut tidak menunjukkan perkembangan signifikan, meskipun korban sudah mengeluarkan uang hingga Rp5 juta.
Belakangan, muncul permintaan tambahan Rp10 juta oleh oknum polisi dengan alasan mempercepat penanganan kasus di tingkat Polres Bone.
Akibatnya, total uang yang diminta kepada korban mencapai Rp15 juta.
Bahkan video dugaan pemerasan itu kemudian viral di media sosial dan memicu reaksi keras dari warganet.
Menanggapi hal itu, pihak kepolisian setempat memastikan dua oknum yang terlibat kini telah diperiksa intensif.
Keduanya kini sudah ditempatkan di ruang khusus atau patsus.
Kabar ini dikonfirmasi oleh Kapolres Bone, AKBP Sugeng Setio Budhi, Rabu (1/10).
Kapolres menegaskan proses etik akan dijalankan dan keduanya terancam pemecatan secara tidak hormat (PTDH).
Sementara itu, Kasi Propam Polres Bone, AKP Muhammad Ali, menyatakan tidak ada toleransi bagi personel yang melanggar aturan.
Propam memastikan akan menindak tegas setiap pelanggaran yang mencoreng nama baik institusi Polri.
