US-Militär stoppt Drogenboot: Vier Tote nach Einsatz in KaribikWährend die USA im Nahen Osten Krieg gegen den Iran führen, setzen sie ihre Angriffe auf angebliche Drogenschmuggler unvermindert fort. Bei einem Angriff auf ein Boot in der Karibik sind am Mittwoch nach Angaben des US-Militärs vier Männer getötet worden. Das Schiff sei von als terroristisch eingestuften Organisationen betrieben worden, teilte die für die Region zuständige Kommandozentrale des Militärs (Southcom) auf X mit. „Die Geheimdienste haben bestätigt, dass das Boot auf Routen unterwegs war, die für den Drogenhandel in der Karibik genutzt werden, und dass es in Drogengeschäfte verwickelt war“, erklärte Southcom. Vier männliche „Narco-Terroristen“ seien bei der Aktion getötet worden. Keine US-Soldaten wurden nach Angaben der USA verletzt.
