Karadeniz'in dalgaları kimi zaman risk oluştursa da Şile'nin geniş kum plajı, yüzme bilmeyenlerin de rahatça denize girebilmesine imkan tanıyor. Denizle arası pek olmayanlar kumsalda güneşlenip yanlarında getirdiklerini yiyip içiyor. Hava çok sıcak. Deniz dalgalı. Cankurtaranlar hep temkinli. Mısırcı ise ağır arabasını güneş altında plaj boyu bir aşağı bir yukarı itmesinin sonuçlarından pek memnun değil.
BBC Türkçe, Kabakum halk plajında günübirlikçiler, cankurtaranlar ve seyyar satıcılarla bir gün geçirdi.
