🇺🇸- The beta version of Gears of War E-DAY launches with several display modes on Xbox Series.
- For the campaign and the new Horde mode, there are Quality, Balanced (120Hz displays only), and Performance (60fps) modes.
- As for PvP, only the Performance mode is available. On the Xbox Series X, we’re seeing a somewhat erratic frame rate in this mode, fluctuating between 75 and 50 fps.
- The Xbox Series S rarely exceeds 60 fps, but at least it offers greater stability in this mode.
- As for the graphical differences between settings, the most noticeable differences are in resolution, shadow quality, geometry, terrain detail, and some textures.
- In any case, since this is a fast-paced FPS, I’d always recommend Performance Mode here.
- On PC, even though Frame Gen can’t be enabled in the beta, you can achieve over 60 fps with any RTX 50 series card on Ultra settings at the recommended resolutions.
- With the 40 series, you can still go with Ultra settings. With a 3060, however, I’d recommend High settings at 1080p with DLSS set to Quality to hit 60 fps.

- Para la campaña y el nuevo modo horda, tenemos los modos calidad, equilibrado (sólo en pantallas 120Hz) y rendimiento a 60fps.
- En cuanto al PVP, sólo tenemos la opción rendimiento. En Xbox Series X nos encontramos con un framerate algo irregular en este modo con oscilaciones entre los 75/50fps.
- Xbox Series S rara vez supera los 60fps, pero al menos tiene mayor estabilidad en este modo.
- En cuanto a las diferencias gráficas entre ajustes, descata la diferencia de resolución, calidad de sombras, geometría, nivel de detalle del terreno y algunas texturas.
- En cualquier caso, siendo un FPS frenético, siempre recomendaría el modo rendimiento en este caso.
- En PC, a pesar de no poder activar Frame Gen en la beta, podemos alcanzar más de 60fps con cualquier RTTX 50 en Ultra con sus resoluciones recomendadas.
- Con las gamas 40, podemos seguir apostando por ajustes Ultra. Mientras que con una 3060 recomendaría unos ajustes altos a 1080p con DLSS calidad para llegar a los 60fps.
