TORINO (ITALPRESS) - "Come Compagnia ci ispiriamo molto ai principi olimpici, lo sport è un diritto, serve per crescere e per questo noi lo interpretiamo anche in un contesto educativo. Noi cerchiamo di favorire l’accesso allo sport soprattutto alle fasce della popolazione che sono più svantaggiate e fragili, lo facciamo in collaborazione con altre fondazioni come la Fondazione Vialli e la Fondazione Carige di Genova". Lo ha detto Marco Gilli, presidente della Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, a margine di un evento nella sede torinese di Intesa Sanpaolo, nella quale ha fatto tappa la Fiamma Olimpica di Milano-Cortina 2026: "Lo sport è anche un modo per promuovere pratiche di sostenibilità ambientale. Abbiamo un progetto in particolare che è ‘Sportivi per natura’, l’idea è proprio che lo sport promuova il benessere, l’attività sportiva all’aperto serve anche per lo sviluppo degli ecosistemi. E poi abbiamo anche partecipato agli Special Olympics perché lo sport è anche una forma di inclusività.
