Israel Cegat Kapal Bantuan Gaza yang Bawa Greta Thunberg dan 11 Aktivis | Narasi Daily
Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) melaporkan pasukan militer Israel mencegat secara paksa kapal Madleen di perairan internasional, Senin (9/6/2025) dini hari. Kapal tersebut mengangkut Greta Thunberg serta 11 aktivis lain, dan membawa bantuan kemanusiaan ke Gaza.Menurut FFC, kapal tersebut dinaiki secara tidak sah. Pasukan Israel menangkap para aktivis dan awak kapal, dan menyita kargo bantuan yang berisi susu formula bayi, makanan, serta perlengkapan medis.
Pengacara hak asasi manusia dari FFC, Huwaida Arraf, menyebut penangkapan itu melanggar hukum internasional, dan bertentangan dengan perintah mengikat Mahkamah Internasional (ICJ) yang mengharuskan akses kemanusiaan tanpa hambatan ke Gaza.
“Para relawan ini tidak tunduk pada yurisdiksi Israel dan tidak dapat dikriminalisasi karena memberikan bantuan atau menentang blokade ilegal. Penahanan mereka sewenang-wenang, melanggar hukum, dan harus segera diakhiri,” kata Huwaida Arraf dalam keterangan resmi, Senin (9/6/2025).
Kapal Madleen berangkat dari Catania, Sisilia, pada 1 Juni 2025. Perjalanan menuju Gaza diperkirakan memakan waktu tujuh hari, asalkan tidak ada gangguan.
FFC menekankan bahwa seluruh aktivis dan awak di atas kapal Madleen dilatih dalam praktik nonkekerasan, dan berlayar tanpa senjata dalam aksi perlawanan sipil yang damai terhadap tindakan Israel di Gaza.
