Tim pertahanan sipil Gaza melaporkan telah menemukan korban tewas yang sebagian besar di antaranya adalah keluarga, wanita, dan anak-anak.
Mirisnya beberapa jasad ditemukan dalam kondisi yang mengenaskan bahkan dimakan anjing.
Juru Bicara Pertahanan Sipil Gaza, Mahmoud Basal dalam keterangan pada Jumat (12/7/2024) mengatakan, total ada 60 mayat yang ditemukan seusai Israel menarik pasukan dari Shujaiya.
Beberapa mayat sudah dimakamkan di tempat, sedangkan lainnya dibawa ke rumah sakit terdekat.
Sementara itu militer Israel mengklaim mereka menemukan drone dan persenjataan lain di tempat tersebut.
Israel mengklaim, wilayah tersebut dikuasai oleh Hamas yang membentengi diri dalam kompleks UNRWA.
Sementara itu, terkait dengan temuan ini, Hamas memberikan kecamannya.
Hamas menuduh Israel melakukan kekejaman genosida dan menyerukan pertangungjawaban.
Tak hanya itu, Hamas juga mendesak PBB dan masyarakat internasional untuk mengambil langkah-langkah untuk mengakhiri kekejaman Israel.
