How I Upgraded Linux Mint 22.3 to Linux Mint 23 (Alfa) Before Release – Mint 23 Alfa First Look

In this video, I answer that question by upgrading my own Linux Mint 22.3 installation to the current Linux Mint 23 development branch. Instead of performing a clean installation, I modify the official repositories, install the latest development packages, reboot the system, and verify whether the upgrade is successful.

This is not an official upgrade path and should only be attempted by experienced Linux users who understand the risks of using development software. Before making any changes, I create a complete Timeshift snapshot, ensuring the system can be restored if anything goes wrong.
