Desakan itu disampaikan Ben Gvir menyangkut tewasnya 300 lebih warga Druze Suriah di Provinsi Suwayda, Suriah Selatan.
Kemudian dengan janji untuk melindungi warga Druze, Israel baru-baru ini menyasar serangan bom ke sejumlah gedung-gedung pemerintahan di Suriah.
Serangan bom itu menyasar Markas Besar Staf Umum Militer Suriah, Kementrian Pertahanan Suriah, bankan Istana Kepresidenan Suriah.
Menurut sumber, sejumlah ledakan keras sampai terdengar di daerah setempat.
Diketahui ada enam serangan yang dilancarkan Israel menghantam gedung Staf Umum hingga mengakibatkan timbulnya kerusakan struktural parah.
Sementara untuk Istana Kepresidenan Tishreen dan kompleks Istana Rakyat, tempat tinggal presiden fase transisi, Ahmed al-Sharaa dihantam tiga seranga udara.
Menurut laporan Kementrian Kesehatan Suriah, kurang lebih ada 13 orang yang dilaporkan terluka dalam jumlah awal korban.
Dan terkini, Israel dilaporkan tengah mempersiapkan operasi lanjutan di Suriah dengan mengerahkan kembali pasukan dari Gaza ke Dataran Tinggi Golan.
