As I was thinking back throughout my Years of playing Destiny and through all the different builds that I have played.
There was one build that kept popping up over and over.
It was back in 2018, man saying that feels like such a long time ago!
We got the Forsaken Expansion in Destiny 2 that year and that was when my love for the game was reignited.
We had seen the tangled shore in all the promotion materials but when we all hit the Dreaming city together as guardians and explored such a great destination that's where my enjoyment of Builds went through
the roof. We got something like 20 plus new Exotics to chase down and they were mostly just random drops so when you got one it felt amazing.
And there in lies the Warlock Build That Defied Time! It's sad to think about but also brought me so much joy over the years that it was all worth it.
This is the Vortex Grenade Void Warlock and at the end of Destiny 2 it remains one of the best builds to ever see the light of day throughout the lifetime in the game since it's release.
Guardians would always come back to it as it brought the power of a black hole and it always looked so cool to watch the void black hole just vaporize entire rooms of enemies, on top of that it had single target damage that was always
at the top and it had a gameplay loop that aloud a pretty much infinite loop to always have these deadly vortex grenades
available to be throwing out at targets.
Well the gameplay your watching is with no extra modifiers on, This is raw Vortex grenades on a pretty much infinite loop
that do absurd damage and the best part now is the artifact choices we make to make the best version we have ever seen.
This is adding Void overshields to a Void Warlock that is normally not accessible and this gives us a layer
of Damage reduction we have never had. we also add in a Damage reduction armor set to further this and throw in
the Strand Unravel debuff to make our Vortex grenades shoot out the Green Strands that makes it one of the best looking
