📚 A FULL DAY IN THE LIFE OF A UPSC ASPIRANT | ESSAY TEST, SOCIOLOGY OPTIONAL, GS-3 ECONOMICS & HOSTEL LIFE

Another productive and hectic day of UPSC preparation! ❤️

In this vlog, I’m taking you through a realistic day of my UPSC Civil Services Examination preparation at Forum IAS Residential Coaching (FRC), Tapasya Campus.

The day starts early in the morning as I get ready and rush for my UPSC Mains Essay Test under the MGP (Mains Guidance Programme). Regular essay tests are an important part of UPSC Mains preparation, helping me improve my answer writing, essay structure, articulation and time management.

After completing the test, I head for breakfast and start preparing for my Sociology Optional through Level Up IAS, attending Nishat Sir’s class. Balancing Sociology Optional with General Studies is an important part of my daily UPSC preparation routine.

Next, I rush to attend my GS Paper 3 Economics class by Basava Sir. Economics is an important component of UPSC Mains, and understanding concepts, current developments and their practical applications is essential for effective answer writing.

The day becomes even more hectic with back-to-back 3.5 + 3.5 hours of lectures! In between these long academic sessions, I take a lunch break and get back to studying.

After such a packed schedule, the evening brings a little relaxation. We head to a café, spend some quality time together, share our life stories and enjoy conversations beyond UPSC preparation.

We also take a beautiful walk around our Tapasya FRC campus. These little breaks, friendships and conversations make the journey of residential coaching memorable.

But the day isn’t over yet!

I return to my library for another round of self-study, complete my remaining study targets and finally head back to my hostel room to sleep and prepare for another challenging day.

And amidst all this, UPSC Mains 2026 Result has also been announced! Congratulations to everyone who has qualified for the Personality Test. ❤️ To those who couldn’t make it this time, remember that one result doesn’t define your potential. Keep learning, improving and moving forward.

UPSC preparation is not just about studying for long hours. It’s also about managing classes, tests, optional subjects, GS preparation, friendships, hostel life and taking small breaks to maintain consistency.

This vlog captures all those little moments — essay tests, Sociology Optional, Economics lectures, library sessions, café conversations, campus walks and the everyday life of a UPSC aspirant.

If you’re preparing for UPSC CSE 2027 or any upcoming attempt, I hope this vlog motivates you to stay consistent and keep working towards your dreams.

Thank you for being a part of this journey. Keep working hard and never lose hope! ❤️
