Sie vermeiden Katastrophen und managen Notfälle: Fluglotsen regeln den Verkehr am Himmel. Doch weil der Job sehr anspruchsvoll ist, dürfen ihn nur sehr wenige machen: Nur 140 Menschen im Jahr werden im Jahr zur Ausbildung zugelassen. Kontrovers – Die Story begleitet Jennifer und Florian in ihrem Alltag als Fluglotsen. Während Florian mit seinem Coach den Flugverkehr mit all seinen Herausforderungen regelt, muss Jennifer den Notfall trainieren.
