L’idea di creare un debito comune tra i Paesi membri dell’#UnioneEuropea può sembrare affascinante, quasi una bella favola appunto. Questa proposta, recentemente rilanciata dal governatore della #Banca d’Italia, Fabio Panetta, viene vista da alcuni come una possibile soluzione alla mancanza di un mercato dei capitali integrato nell’#UE. Tuttavia, tale mancanza non dipende dagli strumenti finanziari disponibili, ma è ostacolata principalmente da barriere normative e burocratiche.
La scorsa settimana ho avuto modo di partecipare come moderatore a un convegno alla Camera dei Deputati a #Roma. Dai dati presentati è emerso chiaramente come il costo della burocrazia sia il fattore più penalizzante per il funzionamento dell’economia europea. È un tema su cui ho riflettuto molto e su cui desidero insistere. Spesso ci indigniamo per i dazi imposti da #Trump, ma dimentichiamo che il dazio più alto che pesa su tutti noi è proprio quello imposto dalla burocrazia europea.
