Donne e uomini come gli agenti della scorta di Paolo Borsellino: Agostino Catalano, Walter Eddie Cosina, Vincenzo Li Muli, Claudio Traina ed Emanuela Loi, prima donna della Polizia di Stato a cadere in servizio. Il loro coraggio, la loro determinazione, il loro senso del dovere, il loro esempio ci accompagna ogni giorno e ci esorta a non abbassare mai la guardia, a non dare mai tregua alle mafie e di difendere sempre quegli ideali di giustizia e libertà che sono le fondamenta della nostra comunità nazionale". Così il presidentedel Senato, Ignazio La Russa, in occasione della cerimonia in memoria di Paolo Borsellino alla Camera. "Un'eredità di valori che abbiamo il dovere di tramandare alle più giovani generazioni, a chi ha la fortuna di non aver vissuto quegli anni così drammatici, affinché la memoria non sia solo ricordo del passato ma guida verso il futuro", aggiunge.
