Mega-Projekt U5: So wird Münchens U-Bahn-Netz erweitert | Die Story | Kontrovers | BR24

In München sind gerade mehrere Infrastrukturprojekte im Bau. Die Verlängerung der U-Bahn-Linie U5 ist eines davon. Weil München wächst, muss das U-Bahn-Netz erweitert werden. Seit 2022 wird auf der Mega-Baustelle gearbeitet. Drei neue Haltestellen sollen bis Mitte der 2030er fertiggestellt sein. Bis zu 60.000 Fahrgäste sollen dann täglich auf der neuen U-Bahn-Strecke transportiert werden. Bis dahin heißt das: Baustellen sowohl an der Oberfläche als auch unterirdisch - durch Wohnviertel und wichtige Verkehrspunkte. Ein Kraftakt für alle Beteiligten. Kontrovers - Die Story war mehrere Tage unterwegs mit einem Polier und einem Bauüberwacher und hat sie bei ihrer Arbeit begleitet - zwischen Zeitdruck und viel Verantwortung.
