Insiden terjadi saat Rusia ditinggal Presiden Vladimir Putin ke Alaska untuk bertemu Presiden Amerika Serikat (AS) Donald Trump.
Dikutip dari The Moscow Times, pabrik yang
meledak adalah produsen serat sintetis.
Kementerian Daruat Rusia melaporkan
130 orang lainnya terluka akibat peristiwa tersebut.
Hasil penyelidikan awal menunjukkan bahwa api
berasal dari bubuk mesiu yang terbakar.
Laporan lain menyebutkan telah terjadi pelanggaran
keselamatan pada aktivitas pabrik.
Namun, penyebab pasti kebakaran masih
terus diselidiki oleh pihak berwenang.
Wilayah Ryazan sebelumnya menjadi target serangan
drone Ukraina dalam perang melawan Rusia.
Infrastruktur yang menjadi sasaran yakni
mencakup militer hingga ekonomi.
Sementara itu, Putin dan Trump bertemu di Alaska untuk membahas penyelesaian konflik Ukraina.
Namun, pertemuan itu tidak menghasilkan kesepakatan apa pun.
Saat pulang ke Rusia, pesawat yang membawa Putin dikawal oleh jet tempur F-22 AS.
