Aksi Aktivis Lingkungan Protes Kerusakan Terumbu Karang Wakatobi Berujung Ricuh
Check motif favoritmu disini https://vcbl.id/SarungBHS/Jun25WAKATOBI, KOMPAS.TV - Aksi unjuk rasa sejumlah aktivis lingkungan di depan Kantor Balai Taman Nasional Wakatobi, Kota Baubau, berujung ricuh. Aksi ini dipicu kerusakan terumbu karang Wakatobi diduga dilakukan sebuah perusahaan asing.
Para aktivis menuding, pihak Balai Taman Nasional Wakatobi tak tegas menindak pelaku perusakan terumbu karang.
Pasalnya, ratusan nelayan Tomia Timur sudah merasakan dampak kerusakan terumbu karang dan pengerukan pasir laut sepanjang 202 meter sejak April 2025.
Menurut aktivis, kerusakan ini akan mengancam kelestarian ekosistem Taman Nasional Wakatobi.
Sementara itu, Kepala Balai Taman Nasional Wakatobi, La Ode Ahyar, bilang perusakan terumbu karang diduga dilakukan oknum karyawan perusahaan asing.
Ia menambahkan, penggalian atau pengerukan pasir untuk jalur kapal di perairan Wakatobi dilakukan atas inisiatif karyawan, bukan atas perintah perusahaan.
