"Le minacce che abbiamo ricevuto sono di una gravità inaudita. Lettere con l’immagine di mia moglie e di mia figlia, con l’indicazione dell’indirizzo di casa; frasi come “vi prenderemo a martellate”, “vi spareremo in testa”, “vi taglieremo la testa con il machete”; messaggi rivolti anche ai nostri figli e ai nostri familiari. Tutto è stato denunciato alle autorità competenti. Ma è evidente che quando dal livello istituzionale si alimenta una narrazione che individua un avversario politico come complice della violenza, si crea un clima pericoloso che può trasformarsi in odio concreto.
