Ein milliardenschwerer Deal in der Chip-Branche hat zum Wochenstart für Optimismus an den US-Börsen gesorgt. Vor allem bei Techfirmen griffen Anleger zu, nachdem ein Großauftrag von ChatGPT-Entwickler OpenAI für KI-Chips von AMD für kräftigen Rückenwind in der Branche sorgte. Der US-Standardwerteindex Dow Jones schloss 0,1 Prozent tiefer mit 46.695 Punkten. Der technologielastige Nasdaq rückte indes 0,7 Prozent auf 22.942 Zähler vor und der breit gefasste S&P 500 0,4 Prozent auf 6740 Stellen.

Bei den Einzelwerten trieben Spekulationen auf die Markteinführung eines preisgünstigeren Einsteiger-Modells Tesla um 5,5 Prozent nach oben. Der Elektroautobauer hatte am Wochenende auf X eine für Dienstag geplante Veranstaltung angedeutet.
