NEW VIDEO: Conservative journalist Nick Sortor arrested covering Portland ICE protest
Nick Sortor, a well-known conservative journalist was arrested Thursday night while covering protests outside of an ICE facility in Portland, Oregon. Upon his release from jail, Sortor took a photo with an American flag that he prevented from being set on fire.Sortor was charged with disorderly conduct, but Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has said there will be an investigation into the arrest.
The protests outside of the ICE facility have become more heated in the days since President Donald Trump announced he would send federal troops to the city to help with the unrest. Trump referred to Portland as a "war ravaged" city.
