Dekriptor tersebut dikirim secara gratis kepada pemerintah Indonesia pada Rabu (3/7/2024) malam.
Dikutip dari Kompas.com, dalam sebuah unggahan di salah satu situs dark web berjudul "Very Expensive Advertising", Brain Cipher menuliskan sejumlah poin.
Termasuk tautan (link) untuk mengunduh file dekriptor yang disebut bisa digunakan untuk mengakses data yang ada di dalam server PDNS 2 yang tengah "disandera".
Selain tautan download, Brain Cipher juga memberikan bonus berupa tutorial menggunakan file dekriptor untuk membuka akses terhadap data yang terkunci di PDNS 2.
Belum ada informasi apakah kunci dekriptor yang diberikan berfungsi atau tidak.
Pasalnya, pihak penyelenggara PDNS 2, salah satunya Kemenkominfo hingga saat ini belum memberikan pernyataan ke publik.
Adapun dalam peretasan ini, Brain Cipher mengaku tak butuh waktu lama untuk membobol server PDNS 2.
Fakta ini membuktikan pengelola PDN kurang kompeten dalam melindungi data-data masyarakat.
