"L'intesa sul gasolio russo annunciata dal presidente degli Stati Uniti Donald Trump è una scelta che considero molto rischiosa".
"Il risultato di questa scelta è dubbio, mentre i rischi sono chiari: una legittimazione per Mosca mentre le sue bombe continuano a cadere sulle città ucraine, nuove entrate con cui finanziare la guerra, un implicito indebolimento della leva sanzionatoria sono elementi che non possiamo ignorare, e che contraddicono quanto fin ora fatto dagli Stati occidentali, Stati Uniti compresi, per spingere Putin a sedersi al tavolo delle trattative".
