«Se i giovani hanno qualche cosa da dire vanno ascoltati e non repressi. Che siano istanze di voglia di studiare o di volersi sentire semplicemente vivi o cittadini di questo paese. Naturalmente andare avanti a botte di Decreti sicurezza non risolverà nessun problema, anzi non farà altro che aumentare le divisioni e creare divisioni è criminale». Così Piero Pelù, a margine della consegna del premio Amnesty international a Firenze, ha risposto a una domanda sulle mobilitazioni studentesche e giovanili di questi giorni. «Ho figlie e nipoti e quindi mi rendo conto benissimo che quando loro non si sentono ascoltati, allora è lì che scattano i meccanismi di ribellione, più o meno incosciente. Quindi bisogna sempre tenere alto il livello di comunicazione con i giovani», che «devono essere ascoltati con i fatti». Fatti che sono «il diritto allo studio, il diritto a potersi mantenere fuori sede. Sono cose fondamentali per il futuro di questo Paese che si sta spopolando perché le nuove generazioni se ne vanno in giro per l'Europa dove hanno trattamenti infinitamente migliori di quelli che offre l'Italia. E questa è una tendenza che qualsiasi governo deve deve prendere in considerazione». Pelù ha anche commentato le affermazioni del rapper Marracash, «con le buone non si ottiene niente», a proposito delle proteste giovanili. «Detta da un artista fa un po' paura questa frase, effettivamente. Quando si dice con le buone non si ottiene niente, vuol dire che non si ha voglia proprio di dialogare. E quando non c'è il dialogo, c'è solo violenza e razzismo». Receive SMS online on sms24.me
