AFD-ERGEBNIS VERDOPPELT SICH: "Wir waren noch nie stärker im Bund!" Alice Weidel lässt sich feiernAfD-Chefin Alice Weidel hat das Wahlergebnis für ihre Partei als historisch bezeichnet. «Wir haben ein historisches Ergebnis eingefahren. Wir waren noch nie stärker im Bund», sagte Weidel nach Bekanntgabe der ersten Prognosen in der AfD-Bundesgeschäftsstelle in Berlin. «Man wollte uns halbieren, das Gegenteil ist eingetreten», fügte Weidel hinzu.
Sie erklärte erneut ihre Bereitschaft zur Zusammenarbeit mit der Union. «Unsere Hand wird immer ausgestreckt sein für eine Regierungsbeteiligung.» Trotz der starken Zugewinne kann die Partei nicht auf eine Regierungsbeteiligung hoffen. Die anderen Parteien haben eine Zusammenarbeit ausgeschlossen.
