河原の廃屋に住む少年・良は、超能力を使う宇宙人と噂され、街の住民から迫害を受けていた。良は地球の環境調査に来訪したメイツ星人と実の親子のように暮らしていたのだ。だが、宇宙人に対する恐怖から暴徒と化した住民たちはメイツ星人を殺害。そのとき、怪獣ムルチが出現した！
