Toda China ha dado la bienvenida a la Fiesta del Bote del Dragón con vibrantes actividades folclóricas a lo largo y ancho del país.En Ningbo de la provincia de Zhejiang, más de mil lugareños y turistas se unieron a la fiesta para celebrar los Zongzi de arroz glutinoso. Los participantes se sentaron codo con codo para aprender a envolver los tamales chinos y disfrutar del ambiente festivo. En Yunnan, aldeanos de 16 comunidades remaron en barcas tradicionales en el lago Lugu y bailaron para celebrarlo, añadiendo un fuerte sabor local a la festividad.
En Guizhou, los artistas dieron un giro espectacular al antiguo arte del bambú.
