Alcune decine di militanti neofascisti hanno commemorato domenica 26 aprile con la chiamata del presentatore seguita dai saluti romani, i quindici gerarchi fascisti che in fuga con Mussolini verso la Svizzera, furono catturati e fucilati ottantuno anni fa a Dongo dai partigiani guidati da Walter Audisio, il 28 aprile 1945. Sul parapetto affacciato sul lago di Como i partecipanti hanno prima deposto i fiori, quindi, disposti in più file, hanno effettuato il rito del presente accompagnandolo con il saluto a braccio teso. Nella vicina piazza Giulio Paracchini, separati da un imponente schieramento delle forze dell'ordine, diverse centinaia di antifascisti hanno preso parte alla contromanifestazione promossa dall'Anpi intonando "Bella Ciao". Al termine della commemorazione sono stati lanciati dai contestatori in presidio alcuni gavettoni contenenti sterco. «Il saluto fascista è anticostituzionale», hanno detto due antifascisti a Salvatore Ferrara della Rete dei Patrioti, il quale a sua volta ha replicato: «Prendo la denuncia e me ne vanto. Sono medaglie».
