PHILIPPINEN: Super-Taifun "Fung-Wong" zerstört alles! Über eine Million Menschen fliehen!Nur eine Woche nach dem verheerenden Taifun Kalmaegi hat der nächste Tropensturm die Philippinen getroffen: Fung-Wong wütete mit Böen über 230 km/h über den Norden des Inselstaates. Über 1,4 Millionen Menschen wurden vorsorglich evakuiert – eine Maßnahme, die laut Präsident Marcos viele Leben gerettet hat. Dennoch gab es mindestens zwei Tote, hunderte Häuser wurden zerstört, Strom und Wasser fielen in Dutzenden Regionen aus. Mehr als 400 Flüge mussten gestrichen werden. Während der Sturm nun in Richtung Taiwan zieht, bleibt die Sorge: Die Taifun-Saison ist noch lange nicht vorbei.
