PLO | Vụ nhiều người Việt bị đầu độc: Thái Lan nhận định nghi can thứ 2.Trong buổi họp báo ngày 17/7, cảnh sát Thái Lan xác nhận rằng sáu người, bao gồm bốn người Việt Nam và hai người Mỹ gốc Việt, đã thiệt mạng tại khách sạn hạng sang Grand Hyatt Erawan ở Bangkok do bị đầu độc bằng xyanua.
Nghi phạm chính là bà Sherine Chong, 56 tuổi. Theo điều tra, bà Chong đã pha xyanua vào trà cho các nạn nhân và sau đó tự tử bằng cùng loại chất độc. Kết quả khám nghiệm cho thấy dấu vết xyanua trong ấm trà, cốc trà và máu của một trong các nạn nhân.
Từ đây, cảnh sát Thái Lan đã điều tra cách thức chất độc được đưa vào khách sạn. Họ thẩm vấn một hướng dẫn viên tên Phan Ngọc Vũ, 35 tuổi, có quen biết với Nguyễn Thị Phương Lan, 47 tuổi, một trong các nạn nhân. Phan Ngọc Vũ khai rằng Nguyễn Thị Phương Lan đã nhờ mua "thuốc rắn" để trị bệnh khớp với giá 11.000 baht. Vũ sau đó nhờ một hướng dẫn viên khác mua. Hiện cảnh sát đang kiểm tra camera an ninh và truy tìm người hướng dẫn viên này.
Một nguồn tin điều tra cho biết: "Nếu bà Nguyễn Thị Phương Lan là người mua chất độc, bà có thể bị coi là nghi can thứ hai trong vụ án này."
