Следователю Люсе Ракитиной повезло – из тихой провинции её пригласили работать в Москву. В противовес этому везению в напарники ей назначили Стаса Ставицкого – модного педанта, долго прожившего за границей. Судьба свела людей из разных миров, с противоположными взглядами на жизнь.
