The stock Windows 11 taskbar is fine, but it’s definitely a bit boring. Microsoft tried to make it as simple as possible, but in the process, they stripped away a lot of the personality and functionality that made older versions of Windows actually feel like a PC.In this video, I’m swapping out the stock UI for Retrobar. It’s a lightweight, open-source app that lets you bring back the classic taskbar layouts from Windows 95, XP, and Vista, complete with labels, original Start buttons, and the classic tray icons.
